Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Result on its official website at ktet.kerala.gov.in. Students, who have appeared for the Kerala TET exam, can check their results from the link given below. They need to enter their Category, Registration NumberDate of Birth, and  in order to download Kerala TET Result. A total of 20881 candidates have cleared the teacher eligibility test out of the total 108387 aspirants who had registered for the exam.Overall pass percentage 19.27.

1388 won in Category-1.
The pass percentage was 5.11, 6137 in Category-2 (26.50.%), 11905 in Category-3 (25.02.%) And 1451 (13.80.%) In Category-4.

Candidates who have passed the examination should appear at the District Education Office at the place where their examination center is located for verification of the relevant original certificates to ensure their eligibility as per the notification. The result will be available on the website

What is K TET Examination?


The RTE Act 2009 directs the State to ensure the quality requirement for recruitment of teachers. The persons recruited as teachers should possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at all levels of schooling. K-TET is an examination to assess the quality of teacher candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School Classes in Kerala.

Which are the categories of K TET EXAMINATION?

Category 1

Minimum Qualification Category I

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate TTC / DEd [by whatever name known] conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
OR
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Other Equivalent qualification.
